I am an incoming Assistant Professor in the Robotics Department at University of Michigan starting Fall 2024.
I am currently a research scientist at the Boston Dynamics AI Institute and a Visiting Assistant Professor at University of Michigan.
My research interests lie in the intersection of robotics, computer vision, and machine learning. The focus of my current research is on building mobile manipulators which can reliably operate in novel and dynamic environments.
I received my PhD in computer science in the GRASP lab at University of Pennsylvania co-advised by Dr. Kostas Daniilidis and Dr. Nikolai Matni. During my PhD, I interned in the Seattle Robotics Lab at NVIDIA Research. Prior to starting my PhD, I was a Senior Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin Corporation where I worked from 2014 to 2019. I received an M.A. in Mathematics, M.A. in Economics, and B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from The University of Alabama in 2014.
